The Rundown: The Concordia Eagles lost to Azusa Pacific 1-2 in 8 innings and 3-4 on Tuesday night in Azusa, CA, both in walkoff fashion.

By the Numbers: Five different Eagles had hits and Megan Feuerstein laced a double. Grayson Harvey scattered eight hits and two runs with five K's.
The Difference:Â APU led off the bottom of the eighth inning with a solo home run to win.
Critical Plays: Feuerstein doubled to left to start the third, and Charlotte Foster eventually singled the run home. CUI left runners on second and third to end the inning. CUI opened the fourth inning with two singles, but did not score. CUI left a runner on second in the sixth and APU used two singles and scored on a double play to tie in the bottom half. Harvey escaped a jam in the seventh but APU homered to lead off the eighth and win 2-1.Â

By the Numbers: Feuerstein hit another double, and five other Eagles recorded singles. Susana Gurney and Grayson Harvey shared the pitching duties, with Gurney allowing three runs and Harvey finishing and taking the loss.Â
The Difference:Â A walk, hit batter, and error loaded the bases for APU with no out in the seventh, and the winning run scored on a fielder's choice.
Critical Plays: A two-run shot from APU paced them to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Jasmin Dresser singled to start the second and scored on Lauren Rodriguez's single. Four singles gave the Cougars a 3-1 lead in the third. Feuerstein doubled in the fourth, and Ryann Ferguson and Alyssa Yglesias singled to tie the game at three. CUI left a runner on second in the seventh, and APU took the walkoff win in the seventh.
What it Means:Â The Eagles went 0-4 against Azusa Pacific this season, and fell to 36-11 and 17-7 in the PacWest.
