The Rundown: The Concordia Eagles completed a four-game sweep of BYU-Hawaii with 12-1 and 7-4 wins on Senior Day at Eagles Field on Saturday. CUI honored seniors Alyssa Yglesias, Charlotte Foster, Susana Gurney, Megan Feuerstein, Jasmin Dresser, and Hannah Howell pregame.

By the Numbers: Jasmin Dresser hit a grand slam, and Megan Feuerstein and Nicole Chavez both doubled. Chavez led the team two-for-two on the day. Feuerstein drove in three runs and Susana Gurney allowed just two hits and struck out three.
The Difference: The 10-run third inning and grand slam from Dresser put this out of reach for the Seasiders.
Critical Plays: Megan Feuerstein made a smooth play at second to get CUI out of a first inning jam 0-0. After a walk, BYU-Hawaii laced a double in the gap to lead 1-0 in the second. A walk, stolen base, and sac bunt put Jasmin Dresser on third base in the bottom of the second, and a squeeze play tied the game at one. Chavez followed with a double off the wall and came around to score on Lauren Rodriguez's single to right. A walk, hit batter, and single from Hannah Howell loaded the bases with one out for CUI in the third. Feuerstein doubled to plate two, and another came in as the pitcher walked back to the mound, 5-1 Eagles. Another run scored on a double steal, and another scored on an error, 7-1 Eagles. Dresser smashed a grand slam on the first pitch as she batted the second time in the inning, 12-1 Eagles.

By the Numbers: Kaylee Dalgarn doubled and went three-for-three, and Hannah Howell collected two hits. After a rocky start, BethAnn McCann calmed down to allow four runs, one earned, on seven hits to improve to 13-2.
The Difference: The Eagles took advantage of some walks in the third inning as most of their hits were in that inning and they scored all seven runs in that frame.
Critical Plays: The Seasiders used two singles and an error to jump ahead 2-0 in the first. With the bases loaded, another single dropped in to make it 3-0. A double and single made it 4-0 Seasiders in the second. Kaylee Dalgarn singled in the third and a walk and sac bunt put them in position, and a walk loaded them. A walk scored one and a single off the wall by Dresser made it 4-2. Hannah Howell dropped a bloop shot to left field to make it 4-3 and a hit batter tied the game. Feuerstein singled to right center and Dalgarn doubled to make it 7-4 CUI. The defense for both teams was impressive to the finish and CUI won 7-4.
What it Means: The Eagles improved to 40-11, their ninth 40-win season and head coach Crystal Rosenthal has now won at least 40 games in all eight of her seasons. They moved to 21-7 in the PacWest and finish the year 18-6 at home.
Up Next: CUI will finish with a four-game two-day series at Dixie State in St. George, Utah beginning next Friday.
