The Eagles edged out the Holy Names Hawks Saturday night 89-79 for a PacWest win. With two games left to play, they are currently 16-10 on the year and 12-6 in conference.

Justin Davis led the team with 17 points and one assist. The senior's shooting was accurate once again. He hit 5-7 from the field and 3-5 from the three-point range.
Tad Dufelmeier scored 12 points with six assists and one steal.
Mike Mellinger and
Geoff Gerlach had 12 points apiece. Gerlach also had eight rebounds, seven of which came on defense.
Case Bruton banked 11 points, six rebound and one assist.
Cameron English put up 10 points, three rebounds and one assist.

In the first half, the Eagles established a substantial lead. They went up by 13 on Chambers' fast break layup. Holy Names fought back and came within two points with five minutes left to play. Concordia regained their lead and finished out the half on a layup by
Josh Hauser to claim a 38-27 lead.

Gerlach started the second half with four points for the Eagles. The energy continued to build and Concordia took hold of an 18 point lead with 15:19 remaining. The Hawks hustled their way back into the game, but couldn't crack the Eagles.

Concordia shot 51.6 percent from the field and 81.8 percent of their free throws. In the second half, the team made 11-11 from the line. The Eagles scored 52 points in the paint and 25 percent from the three-point range.
