To start out their PacWest Hawaii road trip, the Eagles visited the Vulcans of Hawai'i Hilo and spilt the double header.
While the Eagles struggled to post runs in the first game, the team turned things around at the plate and put up eight in game two.
Game 1: Concordia – 0 Hawai'i Hilo - 1
Although Grayson Harvey took the loss in the first game, the pitcher kept her team in the game for seven innings and didn't allow an earned run. Harvey only allowed four hits, two walks and struck out eight.
She faced off against Hawaii Hilo's Danielle Wilson. Wilson was working for the Vulcans all seven innings – allowing only two hits and one walk.
The Eagles had a scoring opportunity in the third, but Wilson was able to get her team out of the jam. Nicole Chavez singled to center field and Sarah Kretschmar reached on an error. Ryann Ferguson grounded out to second base, but advanced both runners. With one out and runners on second and third, Wilson sent two Eagles back to the dug out on strikeouts.
In the bottom of the seventh, the Vulcans took advantage of their last chance to win their PacWest opener. On one hit and one error, Hawaii Hilo scored the one run they needed to secure the win.
Game 2: Concordia – 8 Hawai'i Hilo – 1
Despite two straight outs to start out the second game, this quickly changed. Hannah Miller singled to left field and Amy Eilefson knocked a deep ball over the fence for a two run homer. Concordia rode this energy at the plate the rest of the game.

Amanda Gjertsen did the same to load the bases for the Eagles. Kailey Palazzolo extended the lead to five with a double to center field. Chavez was next, blasting a single to center for two more Eagle runs.
The Vulcans got one run in the fifth, but the Eagles added one more in the sixth to maintain a seven run lead on Ferguson's homer.
