The Concordia men's soccer team found itself in another low-scoring affair Saturday evening at Hawai'i Pacific.
 
The Eagles mustered nine shots while the Sharks only booted seven shot attempts the entire match.  Concordia goalkeeper Mac Hutchins managed to make four saves and one of the HPU shots went wide of the net.
 
However, the other two shots on goal by the Sharks found their mark as intended.  After a scoreless first half, HPU's Reece Montgomery tapped in the go-ahead goal off a cross in the 55th minute of action.
 
The Sharks would later tally an insurance goal in the 69th minute to make it 2-0 Hawai'i Pacific.
 
Concordia had multiple chances to get back on track but unfortunately could not convert.  Austin Nazer attempted two headers down the stretch and Nick Aquino and Eric Torres each tried to put the Eagles on the board with late shot attempts, but the ball did not bounce their way and the Sharks held on for a 2-0 victory.
 
The Eagles will look to regroup over the next few days before taking on Chaminade Tuesday at 1 p.m. PT to wrap up their Hawai'i road trip.
