Men’s Tennis: Eagles split 1-1

IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University Men's Tennis Team competed in two away games this past weekend, coming out even with one loss and one win.

The Eagles played against Sonoma State University on Friday and lost by final score of 4-5. Florian Mayer, Joseph Bray, Thomas Kyle and Man Hon Ko were all victorious in their singles matches. On Saturday, the men's team went against Holy Names and came out on top with a final score of 6-3. Nikita Katnelson, Joseph Bray, Thomas Kyle and Otto Heinz dominated in their singles competitions. Doubles teams Bray/Kyle and Ko/Heinz beat their opponents at 8-4 and 8-2, respectively. 

Coming up: The Eagles are scheduled to play against UC Riverside March 12 at 2 p.m.
