IRVINE, Calif. – For the second straight school year, Concordia University Irvine is excited to hold "Code Yellow" events sponsored by The Habit Burger Grill for its competing student-athletes and teams.
Our first "Code Yellow" event for the 2019-20 season features the CUI cross country teams and takes place this coming Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8:30 a.m. at nearby Irvine Regional Park. Fans are encouraged to plan on arriving early to be there for the start of both races.
All CUI supporters are encouraged to wear yellow or gold throughout the day and come out to support the men's and women's cross country teams as they compete in the Vanguard Invite.
There will be free coupon giveaways to the Habit Burger Grill as well as free Code Yellow t-shirts and free donuts for students.
Free transportation is also provided to the first 36 CUI students who arrive at Grimm Hall on Saturday morning by 7:40 a.m. The bus leaves at 7:45 a.m. so be sure to be there a few minutes early if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity.
The men's race begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and the women's race is slated to begin right after the men at 9:15 a.m.

CUI Athletics introduced the "Code Yellow" theme last fall. A Code Yellow game or event is deemed as a high priority competition, on or off campus, where you the fan can help make a difference. Code Yellow events will be filled with giveaways, free food, and many more surprises!
You never know when the next game-winning shot will be made, the next amazing goal will be scored or the next personal record may be reached. But now you know the Code… is Code Yellow.
