LOS ANGELES, Calif. - As Concordia (9-11, 0-6 GCC) took on No. 8 Pacific on Saturday, they would play another ranked No. 12 Loyola Marymount (19-9, 5-2 GCC) on Wednesday afternoon at the Burns Aquatic Center. The Lions were able to outscore the Eagles with a final score 15-8.

Ariana Olmos and
Siena Goggia both had three saves during the game. The Eagles scored five of their eight goals on a power play with sophomoreÂ
Dailynn Santoro scoring four goals. LMU outscored CUI in the first three quarters and were not able to come back to defeat the No. 12 team.Â
The Lions struck first in the game with Santoro scoring the first goal for the Eagles.
Madison Ravelo would score the second goal from Santoro with just under two minutes remaining in the first quarter. Santoro was the only Eagle to score in the second quarter, trailing 9-4 at the half.Â
Concordia put up strong defense in the third quarter, only allowing two goals while Loyola Marymount was able to shut CUI down from scoring. At the end of the third, the Lions had a strong lead against the Eagles with 11-4. In the last quarter, both teams scored four goals each with Santoro starting things out for the Eagles.

The Eagles will host their last regular season game against No. 17 Fresno State in Irvine at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center on Friday, April 19 at 1:30 p.m.
