OAKLAND, Calif. -- In the final game of the four game PacWest series, Eagles baseball took down Academy of Art 3-2 and took the series with three wins and one loss.

In a four hit game for the Eagles, Haloa Dudoit went 2-for-4 with two singles. Bailey Collins and Matt Lautz also recorded a single each.

Alex Zalasky (W, 4-4) went the distance and threw all nine innings. The southpaw allowed eight hits and one run.

Concordia scored two of their three runs in the second inning. Lautz started the offense with a single and was followed by a line-out and a walk. Chris Martin II reached on a fielding error by the first baseman that scored both Collins and Lautz, and gave CUI a 2-0 lead.

In the bottom of the fourth, ARTU battled back. A double to right center and a groundout had the lead runner at third base with one out. The next batter grounded out to shortstop but scored the runner from third and the Urban Knights cut the lead, 2-1.

The Eagles scored a security run in the sixth after Lautz was hit by the pitch. The center fielder advanced to second on a walk by Tony Garcia III and stole third shortly after. With one out, Cooper Moore grounded out to shortstop but scored Lautz and made it a 3-1 final score.
