IRVINE, Calif. - It was a cold Saturday night at Eagles Field as CUI returned home from Hawaii to take on Academy of Art University. 

Alex Perez found himself his fourth goal on the season with a shot from the right side of the box in the fourth minute, striking before the opponents could have time to collect themselves defensively. Vincente Flores wanted to add his name to the growing list of Eagle scorers on the season and he did just that, capitalizing on a pass from Elijah Amadin in the 15th minute of the first half.

The Green and Gold weren't done in the first forty-five minutes of regulation as Luke Ryan slotted home a chance that he collected from a play-making Amadin. 

The visiting Urban Knights collected a goal back in the final minute of the first half, cutting the deficit down to 3-1 as the teams headed into the break.

It only took Ryan and Amadin five minutes into the second half to connect again, with Ryan powering a second shot into the net for his third goal of the season. Meanwhile, Amadin earned his third assist on the night. The visitors were able to score a penalty in the match's closing minutes, giving them a second goal. However, the home team collected the three conference points as they saw their record improve to 3-1-1 in PacWest play.

The Concordia men's soccer team continues their season in La Mirada next Thursday as they take on Biola in a road match at 4 p.m. on October 28th.
