SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Concordia University Irvine women's soccer team headed down south Thursday to San Diego to take on the Sea Lions in their final road match of the regular season.
The Eagles couldn't quite find an offensive spark throughout the game, still going head-to-head in the chances they created in front of goal, but unfortunately couldn't quite capitalize.Â
Riley Walkington,
Jadenn Carrillo, and Sophie Munoz led CUI with three shots apiece, with Carrillo and Munoz firing a chance on the frame of the goal.Â
Senior keeper
Hailey Asato made five saves for the Eagles, bringing her tally of saves on the season to 57 in fifteen games.
The women's soccer team ends their season this Saturday, Nov. 13th, at 3 p.m., against FPU. They will be celebrating the extraordinary careers of seven seniors before the start of the game.
