DAVIS, Calif. - Six different Eagles scored in Friday's quarterfinal matchup with No. 10 UC San Diego. However the Tritons were able to upend Concordia University Irvine in the first game at the WWPA Championships for both squads.
Austin Wade led CUI with two goals on the day.
Shaine Sargis added two assists and a goal and
Callin Chimilar contributed two helpers to pace the offense.

Jacob Stuart net a goal as did fellow freshmen Gordy Cuculu and
Dawson Brummett. Junior
Harry Nixon also ticked the twine with a score to help the cause.
Playing in the No. 7 seed-No. 2 seed matchup against the Tritons proved to be a tough assignment for the Green and Gold. UCSD eventually went on to secure a 21-7 win.
However, CUI gets two more chances to earn a victory this season as they will face Fresno Pacific on Saturday morning in the consolation bracket.
