ORANGE, Calif. - The Concordia women's water polo team added a late addition game against Chapman on Thursday night. The Eagles dominated in the pool with a final score 17-5.
The Green and Gold scored an impressive six goals in the first and second quarter taking a commanding 12-3 at the half.
Kim Reidel started things off for the Eagles scoring the first goal along with
Emily Tucker and
Dailynn Santoro scoring two a-piece.
Tamsyn Evezard was able to hit the back of the net with less than a minute left all in the first.
Reidel started things off again for the Eagles scoring first in the second and contributing two goals in the beginning of the second. Ravelo, Evezard, and Tucker each tallied another goal with
Josie Miller scoring her first one of the game.
The Panthers were able to hold the Eagles to only one goal in the third scored by
Mauriama Moore. CUI had control in the fourth quarter as well scoring another four goals, each by a different Eagle in the pool.
Reidel scored a team high of four points for the Eagles along with Santoro, Evezard, and Tucker adding three each.
Tatiana Cava started as the goalie for CUI and collected three saves and
Kiara Espeleta finished the game in the net.
The Eagles will finish conference play on the road against Azusa Pacific on Saturday, Apr. 17 at 11 a.m.
