IRVINE, Calif. – The No. 16 men's tennis team dropped a tough one against No. 7 APU.

The Eagles had a tough match up today as they faced one of the Top 10 teams in the nation. Patrick Wong and Jan Simon held it down in doubles with the closest set score of 5-5 but resulted in an unfinished. Wong then took his opponent to three sets at the No. 2 singles position where he again ended in an unfinished. Mike Jansen was tied up with sets as he was heading into his third where the game got cut short and was unfinished. Sofian Tayebi Alaoui was also tied up 5-5 in his second set at the No. 6 singles position but ended short with an unfinished.

The Eagles currently are 7-6 overall as they finished up their final regular season away game. The Green and Gold will host Point Loma on Apr. 12 and then Northern Arizona on Apr. 16.
