LA MIRADA, Calif. - The Concordia University women's soccer team faced up against Biola University in Saturday's non-conference road game.
Neither team could find the advantage in the first half of play as their defenses stepped up to send the game scoreless into the half.
The second half still did not see any goals by either team, sending the game into extra time. After the additional twenty minutes were played out, there was still no definite winner and the game ended in a 0-0 draw. Despite the scoreless match, Concordia outshot Biola twenty-five to seven shots, with
Riley Walkington racking up eight shots of her own.

Haley Asato earned her second clean sheet of the season, only having to make two saves against the BU offense.
The CUI women's soccer team is back in action at home with another non-conference matchup against Point Loma Nazarene, Wednesday, Sept. 29th, at 3:00 p.m.
