Box Score IRVINE, Calif. - It was fitting that Austin Wade set a school record on Wednesday while feeding leading scorer Jeff Runyan for a goal against California Baptist University.

During Wednesday's home game against the Lancers, Wade moved into sole possession of first place in the Concordia University Irvine all-time list for recorded assists.

Wade handed out two assists to tie and then pass former CUI men's water polo player Nick Walker who held the record previously with 51 career recorded assists.

Runyan is a fellow senior for the Golden Eagles who just last week set the school record for career goals. He scored a hat trick against the Lancers and was a nominee for WWPA Player of the Week.

Runyan passed Patrik Zsiros for the recognized school record in CUI's home victory over Biola. Runyan and Wade were two of six seniors that celebrated in style with a two-point win over OUAZ on Senior Night last week as well.

Goalkeepers Hunter Osgood and Griffin Beth combined for seven saves on the day against CBU.

Next up is the WWPA Tournament in about two weeks beginning with a TBD opponent on Friday, Nov. 18.
