TUCSON, Ariz. – The tenth-ranked Eagles took care of business again on Saturday winning a pair of games to move to 11-0 overall and 4-0 at this week's Desert Stinger Tournament.
It's the best start for the Eagles in the NCAA DII era and also the most wins to start the season for the program since 2015 when they won 17 straight to begin their last NAIA season.
PacWest Player of the Week
Missy Nemeth smashed her third home run of the year and teammate
Rylie Rohr also went yard in the second game of the day.

Danielle Michaels also started as the designated player and smacked two base hits.
Massa, Sprinkle, Lopez and Nemeth are off to sizzling starts at the plate. They are all hitting over .400 with Nemeth holding a ridiculous .519 batting average in 11 games to lead the Eagles. Sprinkle has hit 10-for-20 for a .500 average in seven starts.
Mia Saucedo also has hit safely in eight of her first 10 appearances as an Eagle.
"Our offense was dominant today and they responded every time they were needed," said CUI softball head coach
Crystal Rosenthal. Â "
Missy Nemeth was big for us but it was balanced up and down our lineup. It was a fun day for our offense."
Erika Morris was the pitcher of record and improved to 3-0 on the season. She pitched three innings and allowed only two unearned runs in relief of starter
Cortney Koelmans.
Entrup earned her first save as an Eagle by registering the final two outs after CWU drew within three in the final inning.
