LOS ANGELES, Calif. – After coming off a big win over Cal Baptist on Wednesday, the Eagles were looking to continue that momentum on Saturday against Loyola Marymount. The Eagles lost to No. 17 LMU by a score 8-13.
 
Madison Ravelo started things off for the Eagles as she scored the first goal within about five minutes into the game. CUI were held to one goal in the second made by Ravelo which brought the score to 2-7 at the halfway mark.
 
The Lions reached six goals in the third and in under one minute remaining Tamsyn Evezard and Nicole Tormey shot a goal past the LMU goalie. The Eagles gave it all they had in the fourth with Tatiana Cava and the defense shutting out the Lions and not allowing them to score. Ravelo scored another two in two minutes while Ta'iuta Uiagalelei and Josie Miller also threw one in the back of the cage.
 
The Eagles will be back at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center on Thursday, Mar. 31 as they take on Brown for a start time of 12:30 p.m.
