IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University women's volleyball team took control of their match Saturday against Hawai'i Pacific and marked their seventh consecutive victory over the Sharks. The Golden Eagles finished with scores 25-15, 25-16, and 25-18.
The Golden Eagles finished the match with a season high of 15 aces while
Kennedy Farley led CUI tying the school record with seven. Farley contributed with nine kills and eight digs to go with her aces from the back line. Senior
Kirra Schulz had 18 kills with an impressive .469 hitting percentage and scooping up seven digs.
Danielle McCasland had four kills and aces throughout the match.
Caitlin Jarrell put down three kills and was a force at the net with two solo blocks and three assists.
Halli Hooks added four kills and a solo block and
Cassie Prior made her presence known at the net with three blocks.
Senior
Julia Wilson played in the libero jersey and dug up eight.
Alyson Fullbright and
Kawehi Chang dished out 18 and 17 assists respectively and dug a combined 10 digs between the two setters. Chang contributed two aces from the service line.
The Golden Eagles will be back in the CU Arena on Monday Oct. 30 as they take on Hawai'i Hilo with a start time at 7 p.m.
