SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine women's volleyball traveled to play at Westmont for the first time in the DII era on Tuesday. Westmont won in a five set match with scores 20-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, and 15-10.
Danielle McCasland led the Golden Eagles with five aces against Westmont as she had tallied six just last week. To go along with her aces she tied her career-high of 14 kills and 12 digs.
The PacWest player of the week Kirra Schulz had 17 kills and six digs. Junior
Kennedy Farley reached another double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs while
Alex Parisian played on the right side and contributed seven kills
Middle
Caitlin Jarrell had an impressive night up at the net as she had seven block assists and finished the match with six kills.
Halli Hooks was unstoppable on the offense with five kills hitting .417.
Libero
Delaney Risse scooped up 12 digs with
Julia Wilson coming in to play defense and adding a couple herself.
Alyson Fullbright and
Kawehi Chang dished out 27 and 26 assists and had a combined of 16 digs from right back.
The Golden Eagles will have their last home game of the season as they take on Biola Thursday Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. and will honor their seniors.
