FRESNO, Calif. – After beating Fresno Pacific last week the CUI women's volleyball team were looking for a sweep against them in back-to-back games. Fresno Pacific was able to win in four sets with scores 26-24, 15-25, 25-20, and 25-21.
Libero
Delaney Risse scooped up a new career-high of 21 digs in four sets. This marks the thirteenth time that Risse has reached double digits from the back row and added a team-high of three aces. Duo
Alyson Fullbright and
Kawehi Chang both ran the offense with 24 and 23 assists.
Junior
Kennedy Farley had a personal season-high of 16 kills while hitting an impressive .364 and earning her fourth double-double night with 11 digs.
Kirra Schulz led CUI with 18 kills and dug up nine.
Danielle McCasland and
Ola Magiera shared duties as they had a combined 10 kills and nine digs.
Middles
Caitlin Jarrell and
Halli Hooks made an imprint up at the net as they tallied a total of five solo blocks to go with six kills. Freshman
Kayden Croy came into the match and added two kills.
The Golden Eagles will back in the CU Arena on Saturday Nov. 11 as they take on Azusa Pacific with a start time of 5 p.m.
