FRESNO, Calif.- The CUI women's water polo team travelled up north on Saturday to play against the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Golden Eagles fell short with a final score of 9-15.

The first five minutes of the first quarter of the game consisted of both teams trading goals.
Emily Tucker,
Tamsyn Evezard, and
Kim Reidel score one each in the first quarter. During the  second quarter, CUI worked on their defense before scoring more in the second half.

Madison Ravelo,
Nicole Tormey, and
Jericho Callender add one each to the scoreboard. Going into the final quarter the score was 6-13 with the Bulldogs in the lead. Ravelo scores two and one of those being a buzzer beater with one second to spare.
Allyson Corbett also finds the back of the net once before the clock hits zero.
Ravelo collected three assists while
Allie Gaetano, Tormey, Tucker, Evezard, and
Whitney Lee.
Tatiana Cava played all 32 minutes in the net, collected 10 saves, and had one steal.Â
