IRVINE, Calif.- On Friday, the Concordia University Irvine women's water polo team went down the street to play UC Irvine. UC Irvine won the game by a final score of 15-2.
Andie Perreira made the first goal halfway through the second quarter and behind her with eight seconds remaining in the quarter,
Tamsyn Evezard made the final goal for the Green and Gold.
Allie Gaetano collected an assist for her teammates.
Emily Tucker and
Madison Ravelo both got one steal while
Nicole Tormey had two steals. Tormey had an impressive three out of four sprint off wins to help start off each quarter for CUI. Goalkeeper
Tatiana Cava managed to save nine shots from going into the cage.
The Golden Eagles are now 13-9 on the season and will be back in action on Friday, March 24 at 12:30 p.m. as they host San Diego State. This game will be home for the Golden Eagles at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
