IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine won their fifth PacWest game of the season against newly added Menlo College. The scores were 25-22, 23-25, 25-10, and 25-22.
 
Kayden Croy reached another career-high of 24 kills topping her previous 21 against Westmont earlier this month on Oct. 3. The sophomore added 13 digs which marks her fifth double-double of the season. Kennedy Farley and Ally Scheidle added 10 kills each with six combined digs.
 
Caitlin Jarrell was unstoppable at the net as she had 11 kills reaching her sixth match of the season in double digit kills. Both middles Jarrell and Delaney Gregg led CUI with two block assists each.
 
Jadyn Orava came in the back row to serve and play defense where she had 15 digs. Freshman Orava was solid at the back line serving as she tied the school record of six aces in a four set match. Delaney Risse and Celia Dowell played in the back row finished with 24 and 17 digs respectively. Dowell was also a force at the back line where she added four aces.
 
Not only did Orava reach the record book but Kawehi Chang will put her mark in there with 52 assists she dished out in four sets. Chang ties previous alumni Morgan Nunley from 2015.  
 
The Golden Eagles will host Biola on Saturday Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. before going on the road to Hawai'i next week where they will take on Hawai'i Pacific and No. 10 Chaminade.
