IRVINE, Calif. - The Concordia University Irvine men's soccer team hosted Westmont College, ultimately falling 2-0 in a hard-fought match.
In the first half, Jonathan Moreno made a crucial defensive play, shutting down a Westmont attack that could have led to a goal. Goalkeeper Andre Flores, making six saves throughout the match and bringing his career total to 197. He is now just three saves away from becoming the sixth goalkeeper in Concordia history to reach 200 career saves.
Despite the loss, the team showed great effort and resilience. They are looking to regroup as they prepare for their next match.
The Eagles will play away at Azusa Pacific this Saturday, October 26, at 5:00 PM. Fans are encouraged to attend and support the team as they aim for a comeback.
