IRVINE, Calif.- The Concordia University Irvine men's volleyball team was able to compete with the visiting Mustangs in a nail biting four set match on Saturday night. The green and gold were able to finish the match with scores of 25-20, 20-25, 18-25, 21-25, and still defending the nest by being undefeated at home!

Offensively the Golden Eagles ended the match with 50 kills at .313.
Ties Cornelissen was fired up against the Mustangs as he led CUI with 18 kills at .452 and six digs. Alongside him,
Gage Doble was also in the double digits with 13 kills at .286.
Maxwell McCullough added four kills,
Christian Galoppo with nine,
Cole Vigo and
Gil Herold also added to the offensive with four additional kills.

Yotam Briger picked up a season high assists count during Saturdays match, with 43 assists. Briger added six digs and a service ace.
Jacob Reilly led CUI in digs with 12 total.
