IRVINE, CALIF. The Concordia men's volleyball team went head-to-head with their crosstown competition for a second night in a row in a thrilling three set match. The visiting Anteaters were able to overcome the showdown against the Golden Eagles with scores 25-20, 25-16, and 25-20.
 
Defensively, the Green and Gold were not letting anything get past the net as CUI led with nine blocks opposed to the visiting Anteaters of three. Middle blockers Maxwell McCullough and Clement Osahon Jr. led the Golden Eagles with eight blocks combined. Gage Doble added another two to the block count.
 
CUI kill leaders were Ties Cornelissen with 10 kills and four digs, Christian Galoppo with six kills and digs, and Gage Doble added another four kills  and an ace against the Anteaters. Yotam Briger was able to dish another 23 assists in order to set the Golden Eagles up for success.
