IRVINE, Calif. - The Golden Eagles women's and men's tennis teams hosted the APU Cougars for today's opening home matches for PacWest play.

The women's team opened the day up in doubles and competed their way through every point. The early morning start was not an advantage for the women's tennis team and unfortunately CUI dropped their first loss of the season to the Cougars with a final score of 6-1.

As the men's tennis team started their matches, the Golden Eagles posted back-to-back wins in the doubles to earn a point against the Cougars. As the singles commenced, both teams had wins left and right coming down to the last game of the day. Unfortunately for the Golden Eagles the Cougars took their advantage and ultimately won 4-3 against CUI.
