IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine men's tennis team played against Westmont and still remain undefeated against the Warriors as they went 6-1 Friday.
In doubles
Mario Aleksic and
Adam Kartzinel were the only duo to come out with a 6-3 win while the other two teams just fell short with scores 3-6 and 4-6.
Spencer Cinco secured the first win in singles with a dominant performance in two sets with scores 6-1 each time. The first and third slot were a battle as
Mattis Le Montagner and
Max Renz went the distance in three sets and were able to come out with wins over Westmont. Kartzinel and Aleksic went undefeated on the day as they won in doubles and each tallied another win for the Green and Gold in singles.
Lemiel Tairahoy contributed in the singles as well finishing his match fifth in the No. 5 slot.
The Golden Eagles will face off with Portland State for the first time in program history on Tuesday Apr. 2 at 1 p.m. where they will honor their seniors.
