IRVINE, Calif. – The Big Ten Network and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation officially announced Monday that B1G+ and BTN are the exclusive home of MPSF men's and beach volleyball. (B1G+ is the abbreviation for Big Ten Plus).

Beginning with this 2025 season, men's volleyball matches from all nine MPSF members and select beach volleyball matches from each of the seven MPSF members in that sport will be streamed exclusively on B1G+.

More than 135 men's volleyball matches are set to stream on B1G+, BTN's subscription service for non-televised events and archives of classic games and original content.

Fans can subscribe to B1G+ with an annual pass for $89.99 per year or a monthly pass for $12.99 per month. (Note: Due to MPSF conference bylaws, CUI men's volleyball games will not be streamed on CUI's Hudl platform like the previous year.)

"The opportunity to make B1G+ the exclusive streaming home for MPSF men's and beach volleyball, particularly with the additions of Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington to the Big Ten Conference, makes a great deal of sense for the Big Ten Network and our commitment to volleyball," said Michael Calderon, Senior Vice President of Programming and Digital Media for the Big Ten Network. "We are confident that our platforms will provide exceptional exposure for
these two sports and showcase the championship-level programs across the West Coast."

"The MPSF is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Big Ten Network," said MPSF Executive Director Foti Mellis. "By broadcasting our competitions on B1G+ and BTN, we can showcase the exceptional volleyball teams and student-athletes within our conference. Their platforms will provide maximum exposure for our student-athletes and member institutions. This partnership allows the MPSF to share its story and celebrate the numerous successes of our national champions and Olympic medalists."

BTN's volleyball coverage will now run from August through April, spanning women's volleyball, men's volleyball and beach volleyball.

"With the addition of MPSF men's and beach volleyball, BTN is now able to offer more high-end volleyball coverage to our large and passionate volleyball viewership base," Calderon said.

UCLA and USC are members of the MPSF in men's volleyball, alongside BYU, Concordia, Grand Canyon, Menlo, Pepperdine, Stanford and Vanguard.

Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington are all members of the conference in beach volleyball, along with California, Grand Canyon and Stanford. UCLA has won 21 national championships in men's volleyball, including back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024, and has won two national championships in beach volleyball.

About the MPSF
The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) was established in 1992-1993 to serve the competitive needs of member institutions from the Big West, Pacific-10 (now the Pac-12) and Western Athletic Conferences, as well as other selected universities in the western United States; and to provide championship competition for Division-I Intercollegiate Olympic sports in a conference setting. The founding principles on which the MPSF was originally formed were to provide enhanced competition and championship opportunities for sports without conference affiliation, to contain the costs of competition, and to ensure the survival of endangered sports.

The MPSF has also served as an incubator for emerging women's sports and as a safe harbor for sports impacted by conference realignments. Since its inaugural season, the MPSF has seen its charter conference membership grow by the addition of the Mountain West and West Coast Conferences and their respective member institutions, as well as the addition of women's water polo, women's gymnastics, fencing, artistic swimming, beach volleyball, men's rowing, men's and women's swimming and diving, and men's and women's wrestling. As a testament to its viability, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation continues to successfully navigate the ever-changing sea of college sports by fostering contraction and expansion of its sports portfolio to meet the dynamic needs of its members. As the MPSF is in its 33rd season during the 2024-25 academic year and continues its legacy of championship competition, it affirms the vision of its founders and the relevance of its founding principles.

In 2024-25, the MPSF will sponsor competition in 15 Intercollegiate Olympic sports, while serving 86 teams from 46 universities across 14 states. MPSF teams compete primarily at the NCAA Division-I level in men's and women's water polo, indoor track and field, gymnastics, swimming and diving, fencing, beach volleyball, and men's volleyball. MPSF teams are eligible to compete in the NCAA Championships with men's and women's water polo, men's volleyball, and beach volleyball conference champions earning automatic qualification. The MPSF's newest sports--beach volleyball, men's rowing, and men's and women's wrestling--make their debut seasons in the conference in 2024-25.

UCLA's 2024 Men's Water Polo NCAA title brought the MPSF's total to 112 NCAA titles and 118 overall national championships for the conference since its 1992 inaugural season. The MPSF has also been well represented in the last eight Olympic Games dating back to 1996, most recently in the 2024 Paris Olympics. A total of 138 current or former MPSF student-athletes and coaches participated and brought home a total of 59 medals, placing the MPSF fourth in both total participants and medals across all NCAA Conferences in the 33rd Olympiad.

The MPSF's 59 total medals in Paris were an increase from 35 earned in the 2020 Tokyo Games.
