Career Nights Power Golden Eagles Past Penguins

IRVINE, Calif. –  Concordia University Irvine rolled to a dominant 3-0 sweep over Dominican, winning by scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-13. The Golden Eagles were in control from the start, firing on all cylinders and finishing the night with a .392 team hitting percentage, one of their most efficient performances of the season. That mark stood in stark contrast to Dominican's .144, highlighting the Green and Gold's offensive rhythm and defensive pressure throughout the match.

Leading the way offensively was Delaney Gregg, who turned in a career performance at the net. Gregg posted a career-high hitting percentage, .692, showcasing her precision and power in the middle. Her ability to finish plays consistently helped keep the momentum firmly on CUI's side.

The offensive success came from setter Grace Carollo, who also had a career night of her own. The freshman stepped up as the team's primary distributor and recorded a career-high 23 assists. Her court vision and decision-making kept Dominican's defense guessing and played a crucial role in the Golden Eagles' efficient offensive execution.

UP NEXT: The Green and Gold will take on Jessup tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in a conference match-up.
