Fresno, Calif - The Concordia University Irvine men's water polo team turned in another impressive performance Saturday, powering past Fresno Pacific with a 16–10 victory. The Golden Eagles' balanced offensive attack and tight defensive play lifted them to another strong win as the season heats up.
Leading the charge for CUI was Kai Young, who tallied a team-high five goals and two assists for a seven-point outing. Young was electric throughout, converting key opportunities and setting the tone offensively. Dimitrios Koritsas and Carter Clenney each added two goals and combined for several defensive stops, while Nicolas Fuchs and Levi Riegelmann chipped in two goals apiece to help Concordia pull away in the second half.
Goalkeeper Pablo de Souza continued to anchor the Golden Eagle defense, recording six saves and adding an assist before giving way to Derek Maddox, who closed out the game in the fourth quarter. Together, the duo combined for eight saves against the Sunbirds' 30 total shots.
The Golden Eagles showed strong ball movement with 16 team assists and found scoring contributions from nearly every position in the pool. Their defensive pressure also forced key turnovers, limiting Fresno Pacific's rhythm and holding their top scorer, Forrest Gray, to just four goals.

With the 16–10 win, Concordia improves its momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. The Golden Eagles will play next on October 31stwhere they host Biola for the first home night game of the season.
