HONOLULU, Hawai'i – Ania Kapustka and Elizabeth King both turned in All-Conference performances on Saturday morning at the 2025 PacWest Cross Country Championships.

Kapustka finished fourth overall and was named First Team All-Conference by virture of placing in the top seven. King improved on last year's outing by taking ninth place and making Second Team All-Conference for the second straight season. She was 13th overall back in 2024.

Emily Littlefield and Audrey Barcenas were next for the Green and Gold and were both in the Top 35. A pair of freshmen battled for the final points and ultimately it was Adamara Esparza narrowly nipping Olivia Reed for the fifth scoring spot for the CUI women in 37th place. They were followed by sophomores Mariza Chavez and Isabella Albaladejo as well as senior Maleah Kanayama who were all in the top 55.

Together the Golden Eagles took fourth place out of the dozen programs competing this year. Biola repeated as conference champs while Point Loma placed second and Vanguard took the bronze.

The CUI men's cross country team had a historic day and finished with the lowest total in the NCAA DII era of the program. Spencer Handorf and Noah Plaza led the charge to a third place finish for the second straight year.
