ATHERTON, Calif. - CUI headed up to Northern California to finish out their last road trip of the season. The Golden Eagles went up against a newcomer to the PacWest, the Menlo College Oaks.

Entering the first half, the Golden Eagles struggled a bit to get their offense going in the first quarter. As soon as the second quarter hit, the tables turned in favor of CUI.

Their offense outscored the Oaks 21-15 in the quarter and inched closer to trying to gain the lead. Going into the locker rooms, the Golden Eagles made it a four-point game, 31-27 advantage to the Oaks.

Both teams had a slow start coming back from the half, and the Golden Eagles competed to try and get over that 4-7 point lead the Oaks had on them but could not piece anything together. By the time the buzzer had sounded, the Oaks had bested the Golden Eagles with a final score of 64-49.
