IRVINE, Calif. – Former Concordia University Irvine men's volleyball player Logan Glave has been promoted to interim head coach of the program.
Former interim head coach Chris Seiffert has left the program to pursue other opportunities.
Glave returned to his alma mater and was serving as an assistant coach with the Golden Eagles this school year. The former outside hitter played for Concordia from 2018-2022.
In addition to his strong ties to Concordia, he has stayed involved in the sport by also helping coach the 16-I squad at the California Volleyball Club.
Glave was a two-time Beach Volleyball champion during his time at Redondo Beach High School. He was also a Bronze medalist at Boys Junior Nationals with Team Rockstar and a former member of the USAV Beach Junior National Team.
He will coach his first game this week when the team heads out Thursday to play at The Master's University. That game is set to start at 7 p.m. against the Mustangs.
The Golden Eagles will then host Jessup on back-to-back nights next week on Thursday, March 6 and Friday, March 7. Those non-conference matches are slated to begin at 7 p.m. both nights.
