CUI Celebrates Senior Night Against CBU

Irvine,Calif. – The CUI women's water polo team honored their seniors, Sofia Dominguez, Allyson Corbett, and Mattie Herzog as they faced off against CBU on Senior Night. The Golden Eagles fought hard but came up short with a 12 to 6 loss.

Jaden Soto had a strong performance in goal making 8 saves and adding 2 steals on defense.

Hannah Edwards led the team in scoring with 3 goals and won all 3 of her sprints helping CUI gain key possessions. Anna Tyukasz, Sierrah Ferguson, and Emeline Smiley each scored 1 goal adding to the Golden Eagles' offensive effort.

Presley Acosta and Anna Tyukasz each recorded a steal on defense.

Next Up 

The Golden Eagles will play a doubleheader at Cal State Fullerton on March 22. They will take on Macalester at 12 PM followed by a game against Cal State Fullerton at 3 PM.
