ALAMOSA, CO. – The Concordia University Irvine Men's Lacrosse team had a dominant 23-1 win over Adams State at home today. The Golden Eagles were outstanding on both offense and defense, controlling the game from start to finish.
Jeremy Barnes and Parker Teel led the way, each scoring four goals. Barnes also added five assists, while Teel finished 4-for-4 on shots and recorded two assists. Chad McFadden, Matt Carresi, and Noah Pillow each scored two goals, with Pillow and Brody MacDonald also contributing three assists each.
A total of 11 different players found the back of the net for CUI. Joseph Heckel, Max Texter, Brody MacDonald, Connor Kuhl, Tyler Hilmar, Devin Szakos, Gabriel Skegin-Sipes, John Copley, and Brody Champion all scored one goal each.
CUI's defense was exceptional, allowing only one goal, and goalie Daniel Yang made nine saves in the win.
With the 23-1 victory, the Golden Eagles are now focused on their next game against Westminster on April 12th at 1:00 PM.
