IRVINE, Calif. – Seven different Golden Eagles from the Concordia University Irvine men's volleyball team have been named to the MPSF All-Academic team. The Golden Eagles have the most players of the MPSF men's volleyball conference while four other schools had six.
 
All seven players have earned this achievement for the first time: Cruse Ae'a, Ties Cornelissen, Connor Dell, Christian Galoppo, Makai Lipson, Colin Marks, and Makua Marumoto.
 
To qualify for the MPSF All-Academic Team student athletes had to meet the below criteria:
1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is received.
4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the respective sport.
