SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine women's basketball team continued PacWest play on Saturday afternoon, falling 75–63 to Dominican University at the Conlan Center.
The Golden Eagles (5–5, 3–2 PacWest) were led by Camryn Kiernan, who finished with 14 points and five assists while playing 37 minutes. Asia Darcuiel added 11 points, and Genesis Hopkins contributed 10 points, along with two blocks and two steals.
CUI stayed competitive throughout the contest, closing the gap late by winning the fourth quarter 19–15. Myia Collin's added eight points and seven rebounds, while the Golden Eagles received 17 points off the bench, including six from Kayla Cabaccang.
Dominican was paced by Isobel Crosswhite, who posted a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds.
The Golden Eagles will look to respond quickly, as they return to action Monday on the road at Menlo College, with tipoff set for 1 p.m.
