IRVINE, Calif. – It's a case of Dej Vu for
Emma Wegleitner and the Concordia University Irvine women's volleyball team.
Wegleitner was a repeat pick as PacWest Player of the Week on Monday after leading CUI to its two most recent wins. The Golden Eagles as an entire group are also ranked No. 22 in the AVCA DII Top 25 national rankings for the second straight poll.

Wegleitner averaged 4.57 kills per set and 3.71 digs per set over those two matches while hitting .442 and posting a pair of double-doubles for the nationally ranked Golden Eagles.
The Boerne, Texas native collected 16 kills, 11 digs and three service aces in
Concordia's four-set win over Cal State LA. She then came right back and placed another 16 kills in
Saturday's sweep of Westmont to go with 15 digs, two blocks and a service ace.
Wegleitner has racked up double-digit kills on 10 different occasions already this season. She has hit .475 over her last four contests.
The Golden Eagles enter this week 14-2 overall and on a seven-game winning streak. All seven of their victories in conference play have come via the sweep.
Concordia visits Vanguard University this Tuesday, Oct 6 at 7 p.m. before hosting Point Loma this Saturday at 2 p.m.
