COSTA MESA, Calif. – The CUI women's volleyball team remained at No. 22 in the AVCA Division II poll for the second consecutive week and continued to back up its ranking with another dominant performance sweeping Vanguard 25-10, 26-24, 25-18. With the victory the Golden Eagles improved to 8-0 in conference play with all eight wins coming by way of a sweep.

CUI delivered a complete team performance combining an efficient offensive attack, aggressive serving and relentless defensive effort from start to finish.

The Golden Eagles found success from the service line with six different players recording an ace. Freshmen Livia Eyre and Sarah Guglielmana led the charge with three aces apiece putting pressure on the Lions defense and helping CUI control the tempo.
