Thousand Oaks, Calif - The Concordia University Irvine Golden Eagles capped a dominant weekend at the Samuelson Aquatics Center with four impressive victories, defeating Caltech (23-7)Â Â Redlands Bulldogs (16-6), Wheaton College Lyons (27-6), and Cal Lutheran Regals (13-10). Across the four games, CUI showcased offensive depth, defensive pressure, and balanced scoring as multiple Golden Eagles turned in standout performances.
Against Redlands, Concordia set the tone early with a six-goal first quarter and never looked back in a 16-6 rout. Alexa De Villiers and Amber Lewis each recorded hat tricks, while Munroe Blem added three goals of her own, including a fourth-quarter exclusion finish. The Golden Eagles totaled 12 assists on 16 goals, highlighting their unselfish attack, and dominated defensively with 15 steals. Anna Tyukasz, Presley Acosta, and Sydney Eisberg helped fuel the early surge as CUI built an 11-2 halftime advantage and controlled the match from start to finish.
The offensive explosion continued against Wheaton in a 27-6 victory. Concordia erupted for 13 goals in the opening quarter, overwhelming the Lyons with relentless pace and precision. Kimorah Wong delivered a career performance, pouring in eight goals to lead the charge. Myley Mendiburu followed with a hat trick, while Madison Emerson and Sydney Neilon each added three goals. After holding a slim halftime advantage, CUI used a four-goal fourth quarter to create separation.
