Irvine, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine women's basketball team closed out the regular season Saturday evening with a 78-73 loss to Hawaii Pacific University inside CU Arena. Prior to tipoff, Concordia honored its two seniors, Camryn Kiernan and Kayla Cabaccang, in a heartfelt Senior Night ceremony celebrating their dedication and impact on the program.

In a tightly contested matchup featuring multiple lead changes, the Golden Eagles battled until the final seconds but were unable to overcome Hawaii Pacific's free-throw shooting down the stretch.
Senior Camryn Kiernan delivered a standout performance in her final regular-season home game, scoring 25 points on an efficient 8-of-10 shooting from the field, including a perfect 5-of-5 from three-point range. She added four free throws and knocked down a clutch three-pointer with 25 seconds remaining to bring Concordia within one possession.
Concordia shot an impressive 50.9 percent from the field and 63.6 percent from beyond the arc, staying within reach throughout the fourth quarter. The Golden Eagles cut the deficit to a single possession multiple times, but Hawaii Pacific converted key free throws in the final minute to secure the 78-73 victory.
The evening remained a special one as Kiernan and Cabaccang were recognized for their leadership, commitment, and lasting contributions to the Golden Eagles program.

Concordia shifts their focus to postseason play at the PacWest Championships. The Golden Eagles will face Azusa Pacific University on March 5 at Point Loma Nazarene University as they begin tournament competition.
