AZUSA, Calif. -
MaCarhy Morris dropped 20 points to lead Concordia past Azusa Pacific 71-61 on Thursday night and into third place in the PacWest standings.
Morris was a very efficient 7-for-13 from the floor, making his money in the paint and attacking the rim. He also went a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe.Â
Defensive specialist
Radek Homer added a season-high 10 points and post player
Nick Corbett contributed eight points and a team-best 10 rebounds. Homer made two three-pointers for the second time this season.
All five Golden Eagles that came in off the bench made their mark as well and scored at least once. The reserves combined for 19 points to support the starters.

Kevin Haupt each made two baskets,
James Freeman tipped in an offensive rebound and
Ben Krystkowiak added a triple from long range.

Next up for the Golden Eagles is a home date with Hawaii Hilo on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. PT following the women's game at 5 p.m. This will finish off a busy stretch where CUI plays five games in a span of 10 days. Entering the weekend, CUI is now an impressive 4-0 during that stretch.
