IRVINE, Calif. - The Concordia University Irvine men's soccer team lost their PacWest Conference opener to Hawai'i Hilo, 2-1.
The Vulcans scored their first goal in the 26th minute and the deciding goal in the 49th minute.
Concordia had some tough luck as they had 20 shots and 10 shots on goal.
The Golden Eagles were finally able to punch a goal in the 78th minute from forward Dylan Graham. The assist was credited to forward Andy Jun. This was Graham's second goal this season, with Jun's assist being his team-leading third assist.
Goalkeeper Sebastian Marin was able to rack in four saves tonight, bringing his total up to 28 on the season.
The men will continue their path in conference play at home against Chaminade on Tuesday, Sept. 29. This game will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. PT.
