IRVINE, Calif. — The Concordia University Irvine men's soccer team is looking ahead to a challenging but exciting regular season schedule against some of the best teams in the West.
The CUI Eagles found themselves ranked No. 3 on the PacWest Preseason Poll by fellow conferences coaches, falling just shy of the Sea Lions of Point Loma Nazarene and the Cougars of Azusa Pacific.Â
Heading into his final season with Concordia, senior
Elijah Amadin was awarded a spot on the Preseaon All-PacWest Team. Known for his offensive prowess and ability to create opportunities in the attacking third, he looks to add a PacWest Championship to his name. Also returning for the Eagles are seniors
Nick Aquino and
Alfonso Quezada, adding their veteran talent on all areas of the field.Â
Their first regular season matchup finds them on the road traveling to Pomona on Thursday Sept. 2nd at 7 P.M. to face off with Cal Poly Pomona.Â
