FULLERTON, Calif. - While the Golden Eagles took a squad up to Seattle, CUI runners competing at the John Elders Invitational. This meet gave Concordia the opportunity to utilize their depth and give their athletes more experience.
On the men's side, Dustin Berger led the way with a huge personal best in the 8k race with a time of 25:22. Also Dustin Berger, Tyler Renteria, and Jackson Szczerba ran lifetime best as well.
In the women's 5k race, Madilyn Herrera was the first Golden Eagle to cross the line with a time of 19:24. In addition to that solid performance, Riley Norris shaved off ten seconds of her previous personal best finishing the course in 19:28.

CUI will look to make history on Nov. 5, at 8:00 a.m. at the PacWest Championships in San Leandro.
