IRVINE, Calif. - In his first season as a Golden Eagle, Miguel Arroyo was awarded the PacWest Newcomer of the Year Award and earned first-team all-conference honors.

In almost every aspect, Arroyo has been a critical piece for the Golden Eagles. He led the team in goals and assists with six each. He also led CUI in total points scored on the season with 18. In all six of the Golden Eagles wins Arroyo scored a goal or assisted in helping the team.

Miguel Arroyo has earned every ounce of this award, from assisting his fellow teammates to making defenders fall with his fancy footwork; his presence is now known in the PacWest Conference. He will continue to help contribute towards the Golden Eagles soccer campaign next season.
