IRVINE, Calif. – With a new men's lacrosse season about to begin in February, the Concordia Golden Eagles were voted No. 2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason Poll.
The Green and Gold are hot on the heels of defending champion Colorado Mesa who was voted as the preseason favorite. Westminster and Dominican are next in line followed by Adams State and league newcomer Northwest Nazarene rounding out the projected order as voted by head coaches in the conference.
Five CUI student-athletes return after garnering First Team All-RMAC honors a year ago. That includes upperclassmen
Matt Carresi,
Max Texter and face-off specialist
Cade Poe as well as special award winners
Jeremy Barnes (Attackman of the Year), and
Jake Cloutier (Defenseman of the Year).

The home opener for the Concordia Golden Eagles will be Saturday, Feb. 7 at 12 p.m. PT and it will be a key conference match right out of the gate. Westminster will be in town to tangle with the Golden Eagles to open both the regular season slate as well as league action in the RMAC.
