IRVINE, Calif. - The Concordia University Irvine men's volleyball team battled through three competitive sets against No. 18 Stanford behind a balanced offensive effort and strong play at the net. The Cardinal came out with the win in three sets with scores 25-22, 25-22, and 25-18.

Leading the way offensively was
Christian Galoppo tallied eight kills, an ace and five digs. Senior
Logan Whitaker provided a spark in two sets of action finishing with seven kills and adding three block assists. His ability to score in key moments helped CUI maintain offensive momentum.
Myles Henderson chipped in five kills and an ace.

Paul Schulteis delivered one of the most efficient performances of the night recording four kills on eight swings for an impressive .500 hitting percentage. Schulteis also contributed three block assists, making his presence felt on both sides of the net.
Nathan Habermas added four kills and a pair of block assists.

At setter
Matt Fisher orchestrated the offense with 24 assists guiding CUI's attack distribution across multiple hitters. Fisher also added an ace, a block assist, and six digs to round out his all-around performance. Libero
Joseph Nunez anchored the back row with a team-high nine digs consistently keeping rallies alive.

The Golden Eagles will look ahead for a rematch against No. 18 Stanford Saturday Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. in the CU Arena.
